IG dispatches 2000 mobile police men to the North-East

Ibrahim Idris, the Inspector-General of Police has sent about 2000 persons of the Police Mobile Force, of the Counter-Terrorism unit and if course the Sniffer Dog Dog Section to  the North-East to compliment the military in its fight against Boko Haram.

The Police spokesman, Moshood Jimoh, in a statement in Abuja on Sunday, said the force had 47 PMF units in Borno State totalling 2,961, aside the latest deployment.

The police also stated that the deployment was in accordance with Section 4 of the Police Act and Regulations.
